Danger-Dook

Thanks for visitng

I'm Jacob Peterson and If this is a little confusing, that's fair I tend to flow in whatever direction is most interesting. I bought this domain a while back and I haven't quite figured out what to do with it, so it's currently hosting a small portion of my existence.

Various builds through the years, from my current rig back to one of my first PCs. I wish I could share more of what I've built and worked on but we'll keep it somewhat brief!

Some of the mods and repairs I've done over the years, including interesting items such as converting a iMac g4 to a Intel NUC re-using the original monitor and power supply also utilizing custom designed mounting hardware from fusion 360. General repairs are dead capacitors from the 2000's plague of bad caps, cleaning and thermal paste/pad replacements, repairing corrosion on PCB.

Some of the modding and map-making I was doing back in the 2000's including some moderately successful maps for Counter Strike Source, and Garry's mod, as well as vehicles modeled and physmodeled for Rigs of Rods.

I've been working in IT support professionally since late 2015 and personally I have been building gaming machines, hosting lan parties, modding games, modeling, texturing, and PC gaming nearly my whole life. The first PC I was able to buy parts and build myself was from CompUSA had a Sempron 2600+, 512mb of DDR, a GeForce 6200 which I flashed to a 6600, and an 80gb hdd with windows XP. I've built hundreds of gaming oriented PCs since that start in 2004, supporting LAN parties, building machines for customers, and personal builds. I've been active in the modding communities in the past building maps for Counter Strike Source, posted on CSSBanana.com before the workshops went live, and games like Rigs n Rods, Garry's mod, Oblivion, unreal 2004, ect. My Steam account is DangerDook, feel free to take a look or reach out!
